Two days and counting until I’m going to be moving from Cardiff to Tulse Hill in London, and I can’t wait! All the bothersome jobs are out of the way — tenancy agreements signed, money paid, packing (mostly) done. All that’s left to do now is to get up early on Tuesday and move all our stuff across the country.
One problematic thing about the move, though, is that Virgin Media have given us a 22nd July installation date for moving our service across — meaning that unless we get lucky and someone cancels their appointment, the flat is going to be without internet access for three weeks. Not ideal when I have work to do and jobs to look for. Hopefully it’ll work in my favour though — I’ve got one big job that needs a lot of work and doesn’t need constant online updating, so I should make great progress on that, and the lack of other work should be as good a motivator as any to going out and getting a salaried job as soon as possible!
Really though, I’m just looking forward to our housewarming party and to checking out all the cool bars and pubs in Brixton!
