One Year Later… A New Design is Born

Well, almost. It’s pretty much a year since I scrapped my old ExpressionEngine site and put together a portfolio and blog in WordPress. Mine was the first WordPress site that I built, and, while the sticky tape’s held it all together pretty nicely, there’s so much that could be improved.
That’s why it’s been quiet here as of late — I’ve been working away behind the scenes in my spare time to create a new look and feel for my site. One that’s a lot more… me. I’m polishing it off and covering over the scuff marks at the moment, so it’ll be put in place very shortly.

Would you consider posting about your experience in moving from one backend to another, I think it could be interesting for your readers.

To be honest, I really like your current design. It’s clean, simple and easily navigable. Considering you’re a designer, I trust that your new design will certainly be an improvement, but having just discovered your site I was impressed with the current design’s simplicity and functionality. Looking forward to seeing the new design soon! -Mike

It really catches my attention on your title alone. Your really creative on improving your design. I agree that in your design this is already cool, easy to navigate and it’s simple. You’ve been doing a terrific job on it.

I suggest you can post some of your experiences on how you build your sites and give some pointers to beginners like me. I will really appreciate it. Thank you.
