After a week of building, it’s finally here!

Well, it’s been about a week in the making, but my site finally has a blog. I’m sure it’s completely overdue, but I never felt the need to write one before. I’ve changed my mind for a few reasons.

Firstly, simply writing about design gets the brain going, gets me to look up new stuff and ultimately to learn to be a better designer, which is never a bad thing.

Secondly, it’s a potential source of incoming traffic that I just can’t ignore. I’m considering a move to the big smoke, London, later this year and I’m aware that the cost of living is going to be that much more than it is here in Cardiff, so I need to do some extra earning and saving. More traffic = more clients = more money, so I can’t afford to let that potential slide.

And thirdly, I don’t feel like I do enough ‘fun’ stuff at present with my work. Keeping a blog should inspire me to produce and display my results from tutorials, play-arounds and personal projects.
