Day Two: Justin Gerard (Portland Studios)

Justin Gerard
Justin is a nomad in the Greenville area — he rarely lives in the same house for longer than 1.5 months. He spends his days imagining he is Napoleon Bonaparte and drawing pictures informed by the works of NC Wyeth, Carravaggio, Peter de Seve and Carter Goodrich. His fans regard him as “the Chuck Norris of illustration.” One day, when he grows up, he wants to be a truck driver — at least for a while. Justin is the Chief Creative Officer of Portland Studios.

Thanks to my friend Anca Foster, I was up until 3am this morning discussing my ideal method for making a cup of English Breakfast tea, so in between explaining my method and theory behind it to her over Twitter, I sketched out this informative panel to help all of you wannabes …and those weirdos out [...]

I’ve seen quite a lot of IE6-bashing on Twitter today, including calls for web designer to boycott the browser completely, and as I was thinking about it during this morning’s shower, I came up with the following analogy.
Say Internet Explorer 6 is your standard petrol-run car, and Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc, are shiny new LPG-run [...]
