It's now only 4 days until I head off to Reading Festival for the long bank holiday, and I can't wait! Ok, I don't actually have a ticket yet, but here's hoping I'll be able to pick one up at the entrance as usual.

I've just started the Thirty Day Challenge (free online marketing and branding course) as of last night — a busy few hours playing catch-up with all the pre-season material to be ready for the first lesson, which was just announced within the past hour.
I'm not sure yet what to expect from it all, but we've been told that the course will earn us our "first dollar online", so it's not all for nothing! ;-)

I've been living in Tulse Hill in south London for a month now, and I'm knackered! Since we moved in, I don't think we've had more than three or four days without somebody visiting! Our third weekend saw our housewarming party, and sleeping 20+ people in our little flat… hectic, but fun!
My internet situation is frustrating at the moment — Virgin Media was supposed to have installed our services on the 22nd, but after waiting around all that morning I phoned them to be told that due to problems with the line, we've been moved to an August …

Well, my main navigation is all up and running again. Seems I omitted a necessary question mark from my redirect rules. I don't remember having changed the .htaccess recently, but perhaps my server or Expression Engine just got a little more picky about their rules… Or just maybe I accidentally uploaded an old version when I set up redirects to my CV and Portfolio earlier this month… maybe.
Whatever it was, thankfully it's sorted now — it was starting to really confuse me for a while there!

Ok, so any recent visitors to my site will have noticed that my navigation links just don't work. I kind of know the reason why, but I'm having trouble fixing it right now, which is more than a little frustrating seeing as I've been applying for a new job this past month — a broken site's not the best commendation… but I'm on the case, hopefully it'll be sorted shortly.

Two days and counting until I'm going to be moving from Cardiff to Tulse Hill in London, and I can't wait! All the bothersome jobs are out of the way — tenancy agreements signed, money paid, packing (mostly) done. All that's left to do now is to get up early on Tuesday and move all our stuff across the country.
One problematic thing about the move, though, is that Virgin Media have given us a 22nd July installation date for moving our service across — meaning that unless we get lucky and someone cancels their appointment, the flat is going …
