About Rob Barrett
Hi, I’m Rob, a freelance designer currently based in Clapham, south London. I specialise in graphic and web design, offering services on projects such as logos and stationary, book and CD covers, brochures and posters, and websites and mini-sites. I also offer illustration and typesetting services.
A Brief History
I’ve always been a creative guy. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to grow up to do something involving art, or to be Indiana Jones. Of course, when I found out that archaeology is a little different than in the movies, it put a stopper on that idea, so the first route it was!
I’ve been in the design industry since 2004, and working freelance for 3 years, with clients all over the UK and abroad. When I’m not working, most of my waking hours are spent following the latest design news and teaching myself new tricks of the trade.
Aside from design, my other love in life is travelling. In the last few years alone, I’ve undertaken a couple of round-the-world trips, a tour of Europe, and a charity hitchhike from the UK to Morocco. I find myself hugely inspired by the vast range of cultures and attitudes that the world has to offer.
